And we're back

So there's no denying that I've let this blog go stale. Over the last few years I've been busy dealing with life and neglecting my love of paper things, well neglecting sharing them on here at least. Now it's April 2025 and I've revamped the site and ported it to a cheap, static, self-hosted option (power by Publii). I still have a few posts to fix the galleries on but all the images are there.
Also, I have a back log to share. It's a mix of things I've picked up over the last few years and things that I've had for ages and have not posted before (maybe on mastodon). Here's a sample of the covers, but there's a lot more, so I'll be busy for a while
The backlog
- A couple of Emigre type specimens
- A few new OuLiPo books (Penguin + others)
- Some prints by Fumi Yanagimoto
- Some prints by Charlotte Farmer
- La Perruque type specimens
- The Brick Index book
- Some old Jonathan Barnbrook work and design student work from the 90s
- The Immediasts pamphlet (also 90s)
- A fabulous Danish children's book
- Pentone and 28 Amendments from Nick Asbury
- 3 issues of Inscription journal, including the unfathomable 'folded' issue
- Blag magazine with the feature on Leonardo, the Ghanaian movie poster painter
- Thee Almighty, pre 80s Chicago gang calling cards
- QSL cards - a visual language
- Material Lumin - the CODEX artists' book fair book
- A few new books from the Letterform Archive
- The 1st issue of Inque magazine
- Pity is Treason by Jake Chapman
- Anti Copyright Network flyposter leaflet
- Design monograph on Mitsuo Katsui
- Cats at Every Turn from Machida Naoka
- Nature's Palette and more colour books
- A piece on when the Guardian newspaper changed format
- More Mark Pawson gems
- More Sam Winston
- More Corita Kent
So I think the rest of 2025 will be a busy posting year.
Edit 2026: OK so was a short lived posting year and only knocked off 6 from that list before I stalled and accumulated a bunch more new stuff. New effort underway.
