Recentish Emigre Type Specimens

2 type specimen pamphlets side by side.

You might have realised that I'm a big Emigré fan, I can't help it, I was a design student in the 90s. Something that made me very happy recently is that I'm still on their physical mailing list, and that they have started creating new printed matter to send out. A few years back they placed their archive with the Letterform Archive, so all the magazine issues are online now, but there's sooooo much more, so go see it in San Francisco if you can.

Heres the 2 new things I have: the Four Letter Words sort of specimen book is from the 1st year of the pandemic (I think) and the Little Bits specimen is from last year (possibly).

So for all you "sputniks, beatniks & gridniks" out there, go check out their updated and rather lovely Emigre site

Emigre type catalogues and promo bits

I've got a box full type catalogues and promotional bits and pieces from Emigre and a few other foundries. They are quite interesting snapshots of type trends in the '90s and have that signature Emigre feel.
