La Perruque type specimens
An intriguing type specimen magazine from La Perruque in the form of thin, narrow strips of paper, 1 per font, wrapped around a winding spool and secured in place with a band. These are tiny objects of wonder, like some ancient artefact that must be unravelled decoded. I think these are issues La Perruque [A] and La Perruque [B].
They are the product of making use of the trimming space in other print jobs, a print job hidden (and free) within a print job. As they put it:
La Perruque hacks unused paper surfaces from print shop production and turns them into playgrounds for type designers rather than waste.
Lots more from them here: https://la-perruque.org/
