Glorious screen printed goodness from Red Fox Press
A while back I managed to snag a copy of Franticham’s Los Angeles Palmtrees from Red Fox Press. I’m a huge fan and this beautifully screen printed artist book is a real gem. From the transparent, perspex, back screened front cover to that incredible inky smell, it’s a winner. It’s about 35cm x 26cm and each page is printed on both sides on heavy, raw edged art paper which makes it a truly physical object. It’s a riot of colours and signage tied into the theme of LA palm trees and it’s just gorgeous.
The camera definitely struggles with the colour but here’s a few spreads.
Whilst on the site I also grabbed a copy of their Riso Dada zine/book/pamphlet. Lot’s of fun.
